Stolen car crashes into vape shop on S. Wilmington Street in Raleigh


RALEIGH, N.C. — A stolen car crashed into a vape shop Sunday morning on S. Wilmington Street in Raleigh.

Raleigh police confirmed that the suspect(s) stole a Kia and crashed into what appears to be a vape store.

Police said they were alerted by the burglary alarm at the vape store around 6 a.m.

According to police, the original 911 caller said there were people leaving the vape store, even though it was closed.

No one was injured, according to police. The fire department said that there was no major structural damage, just the front glass of the store.

Police said there are no suspects in custody.

WRAL News is working to learn if anything was stolen.
