TikToker shares ‘mistake’ she always notices while watching in Jim Carrey’s

A TikToker spotted a mistake in the classic live-action How the Grinch Stole Christmas film starring Jim Carrey.

TikToker @redcobweb said that every time she watches the movie, she can’t help but notice a small blunder. There’s a moment where we see Carrey’s brown eyes instead of the Grinch’s greenish-yellow eyes with black irises.

“Bro, this always catches my eye so merry Christmas I’m sharing this,” the video text read.

In the clip, the Grinch opens a hatch. When the camera pans to his face, it’s Carrey’s eyes. The camera cuts away, and when it returns to the actor, it’s the Grinch’s eye color again.

“Every time I watch the Grinch I notice this one little mistake they made whether they forgot to either put his contacts in or to edit them in afterward,” she said in the video.

People were stunned by the continuity error in the 2000 film.

“I’ve watched the Grinch so many times and never noticed this,” someone said.

“That’s surprisingly scary without the contacts,” another added.

“Yes!! I always noticed this but never saw anyone else say something!! Thank you!!!” a TikToker replied.

“Watched this so many times and I’m ashamed I never noticed,” a person commented.

“I never noticed this it’s so bizarre seeing just regular eyes,” a user wrote.
