Tulsi Gabbard: If You Love America, Leave the Democrat Party

One of the storylines manufactured by the Democrat News-media complex (hereafter the DNC) in order to secure their grip on money and power is that the Donald Trump and MAGA (“Make America Great Again”) Republicans are a threat to democracy, the rule of law and the US Constitution.  As former Democrat Presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard who watched the degeneration of the Democrat Party from within, explains, the reason they have had to manufacture this storyline is that this is precisely what they themselves are doing, destroying democracy, the rule of law and the Constitution.  Using Joseph Goebbels (Hitler’s propaganda minister) strategy, also called the “accusation in a mirror” strategy, Biden and DNC understand that the best way to disguise what they are doing is to accuse their opponents of doing that very same thing.  The idea is that if the DNC accuses Trump and Republicans of trying to destroy the Constitution and the rule of law often and loudly enough, the peasants for whom they have so much contempt will not notice that it is they that are trying to destroy the Constitution and the rule of law.  

It is not Trump and the MAGA movement but the DNC that cynically try to hold onto power by “racializing every issue” and dividing the races, that work to undermine our 1^st and 2^nd amendment rights, that are hostile to people of faith and their religious beliefs, that demonize the police while protecting their constituency, criminals, at the expense of law-abiding citizens, that open to borders to flood the country with illegal aliens in order to increase their own political power while lying, sometimes under oath, that the border is secure, that censor alternative political viewpoints and weaponize the legal system and national security state to smear and destroy their political opponents. 

Gabbard is not the only former Democrat to have lost faith in the Democrat Party.  For Alan Dershowitz the last straw was Biden’s and Democrat moral cowardice in caving to the anti-Israel terrorists.  Dershowitz has even said that the vile anti-Israel hate tolerated and protected by the Democrat Party will turn millions of American Jews, including himself, from “blue” to “red”, i.e., from voting Democrat to voting Republican.  Dershowitz is referring to the Democrat’s attempt to establish a moral equivalency between Israel defending itself from a terrorist attack and the terrorists themselves.  Biden and the Democrats, pandering to Michigan Muslims Biden needs in the 2024 election, cannot simply condemn the Hamas terrorists without also condemning Israel’s attempts to defend itself,

Nine hard-Left Democratic members of Congress voted against a House resolution that condemned Hamas and expressed support of Israel. Another six voted ‘present’ for the bill that passed overwhelmingly.  … [Meanwhile] on Wednesday, VP Kamala Harris announced a new ‘National Strategy to Combat Islamophobia,’ which any sensible American would support. … But the streets of American cities and college campuses are not being filled with crowds celebrating the murder of Muslims. 

A genuine leader would do what is clearly right on an issue of such importance without worrying about elections.  Only a morally hollow husk of a man whose appalling weakness engenders chaos and wars all over the globe would pander to both sides for votes in such a situation.  One may criticize some of Israel’s methods, but the manifest fact is that the two sides are not equivalent.  The current conflict began when Israel civilians, families, women, children were attacked and murdered.  Hamas has promised more of the same.

Sometimes liberals leave the Democrats because they are expelled for asking forbidden fact-based questions.  Longtime liberal feminist Naomi Wolf spoke to Tucker Carlson in March 2024 about her expulsion and new realization about the Left,

I was very shocked.  I [already] knew that my side [liberals, Democrats] had become increasingly ideologically rigid and irrational.  I saw the mission creep from liberalism to “wokism” … but I still thought that world existed, that if you’re in the “news” business you report facts and if you’re in the media you can have opinions [but it suddenly became clear that] that world was gone and we are living in a [new] Stalinist reality … [What is] the difference between the way I saw the world then and the way I see the world now?  You know that parable, “Who’s my brother, right?” [Well,] the people I thought were my brothers and sisters [Democrats, liberals] are not my brothers and sisters.  My brothers and sisters 1714875609 are people from many walks of life, conservatives and libertarians [and] people of faith …

It turns out that Wolf was correct about those medical problems for women due to Covid vaccines, not that any of our moral betters in the self-righteous Left cares.  This is because, for the Left, it is no longer about caring for people.  It’s about raw political power. 

Gabbard can only come to one possible conclusion:

[T]he Biden-Harris administration … cannot be allowed to remain in power. … They’re terrified of a truly free society where we can have a free open marketplace of ideas. … [Consider the] unprecedented abuse of power they are engaging in, undermining the rule of law, politicizing our government entities, targeting … who happen to be their political opposition, whether it’s Donald Trump or the mom who’s protesting at a board of education meeting to have a say [about] what kind of education her child is getting. …

Despite their propaganda, the DNC now have contempt for the “little guy”.   Having taken some sociology and philosophy courses, and having stood in the quad listening to someone angrily yelling into a megaphone, they have, as Gabbard put it recently, succumbed to the serpent’s temptation to believe they are God, “knowing good and evil.” Accordingly, given their self-imagined greatness, they feel entitled, indeed, obligated, to force the peasants to submit to their delusional “woke” agenda.
