Former Forest Hills superintendent to serve as superintendent in Bay Village

Former Forest Hills School District superintendent announced as new superintendent for Bay Village Schools on Saturday. The Board of Education announced that Scot T. Prebles will be the new superintendent of Bay Village Schools. The board unanimously approved his appointment during Saturday morning’s special board meeting. Prebles began serving as the superintendent of Forest Hills School District in January of 2016, according to the Forest Hills School website. The Bay Village City School District described Prebles as “a 35-year education veteran who has served in multiple capacities within some of the state’s top school districts, from teacher and coach, to athletic director and high school principal. Before serving as Superintendent of Forest Hills School District, Scot was superintendent at Brecksville-Broadview Heights City School District and Granville Exempted Village School District.”President of the Bay Village Board of Education stated that “we are excited to have him be the next leader of our district. His experience and vision are in parallel to our district’s quest to become a lighthouse of excellence throughout the state.”The Bay Village School District is located in Bay Village, Ohio, outside of Cleveland.
