Improvements being made on southwest Ohio shooting range


Progress is being made on improvements at a shooting range in southwest Ohio.The Ohio Division of Wildlife said the Indian Creek Shooting Range is scheduled to be open to the public in the summer.New amenities at the Indian Creek Shooting Range include a covered shooting line and benches, sidewalks and restrooms compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act, new side berms and backstops and an improved parking lot and stormwater drainage.To shoot at the range, everyone 18 and older must purchase a shooting range permit, which is available at all hunting and fishing license outlets.Shooters must supply their own target holders, which must meet the approval of the shooting range attendant, according to wildlife officials.The Indian Creek Wildlife Area Shooting Range is located at 4258 Snowhill Road in Fayetteville, Ohio.
