Revere police detain two with BB guns and vape pens

REVERE — Two individuals were detained by Revere Police after a tipster reported a suspicious white motor vehicle parked on Eliot Rd. with occupants displaying what appeared to be firearms.

The Revere Police Department responded to the scene where patrol officers found the two occupants taking photographs with what were initially believed to be real firearms.

Upon further investigation, officers discovered multiple BB guns and THC/Nicotine vape pens inside the vehicle.

No actual firearms were recovered.

Authorities have not released the identities of the individuals involved or any charges that might be pending.
