Anil Kapoor recalls his wife Sunita Kapoor paying bills when he was financially

Anil Kapoor experienced several ups and downs in his cinematic career over four decades. In a recent revelation, Anil credited his wife, Sunita Kapoor, for supporting him through tough times when he was struggling financially. While attending a detergent brand’s ‘Share the Load’ campaign, where he was seen with his daughter Sonam Kapoor, the actor mentioned that he met Sunita 50 years ago for the first time. The actor was not financially sound then, but she used to take care of many things, which helped them to share the load. It wasn’t limited to household chores but encompassed anything related to financial aid.

He further added that there was a time when he couldn’t afford things and didn’t tell her. When they started dating, they used to travel together and go to restaurants. Sometimes they chose a regular restaurant, and the next time, a slightly better one. She would understand that Anil was struggling to pay bills and would pay before he even realized it.

Sonam Kapoor, in a humorous tone, added that her mother still pays the bills, to which Anil joked that she was taking revenge. Anil emphasized the importance of sharing responsibilities in a relationship. Anil and Sunita married on May 19, 1984. Sonam Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor, and Harshvardhan Kapoor are their children.

Anil Kapoor shared the screen with Ranbir Kapoor in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Animal’ and had a significant role in Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Fighter’.
