VIDEO: States Asked to Cut Ties With American Library Association – The American

Conservative leaders from 13 organizations have sent a letter encouraging states to cut ties with the woke American Library Association (ALA), reports the Federalist.

The report mentions that Missouri was the first state to eliminate the ALA and sever  financial ties. Eight more states are currently in the process of doing the same.

The ALA embraces gender ideology and radical left-leaning philosophies — meaning it encourages the promotion of books on such topics in libraries. Their focus has centered on what it calls the “most challenged books.” This list points to the books that have raised many concerns due to sexually explicit and, in some cases, pornographic content. 

While parents across the country have called for such books to be taken out of children’s libraries, the ALA has given them extra promotion. 

This comes as no surprise, as the ALA president is a self-proclaimed “Marxist lesbian.”

The World Libraries Association was recently launched to provide an alternative to the ALA. Founder Dan Kleinman told the Daily Caller, “The World Library Association would like to provide some kind of counterbalance to this big group that has been pushing these inappropriate books that they have been for decades.”
