McCarthy Will Yank Dems From Committees, Give Left Stiff Dose of Its Own Poison – The

Democrat Reps. Ilhan Omar, Adam Schiff, and Eric Swalwell will have lots more time each day for the crossword puzzle. House Speaker Kevin McCarthy confirmed last week that he will boot Omar from the Foreign Affairs Committee and Schiff and Swalwell from the House Intelligence Committee.

Naturally, these Democrats are not happy about this development.

Omar, of course, has been playing the race card, much as a vulture gobbles carrion.

“What [McCarthy’s threat] does is gin up fear and hate against Somali-Americans and anyone who shares my identity, and further divide us along racial and ethnic lines,” she said.

Schiff whined to ABC News: “[McCarthy] is a very weak leader of his conference, meaning that he will adhere to the wishes of the lowest common denominator, and if that lowest common denominator wants to remove people from committees, that’s what they’ll do.”

Swalwell complained that McCarthy was acting “purely out of vengeance.”

These Democrats are getting what they deserve. Also, they should channel some of their rage at former Pelosi, who made this entire scenario possible.

The removal of Omar, Schiff, and Swalwell from their committees is justified on multiple levels. By yanking these Democrats, McCarthy will be honoring a promise he committed to following if the GOP took back the House.

McCarthy has also correctly argued that Omar’s “repeated anti-semitic and anti-American remarks” disqualify her from Foreign Affairs, if not the House itself.

“Schiff has lied too many times to the American public,” McCarthy recalled. “He should not be on Intel.” Schiff, former chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, chased President Donald J. Trump like Captain Ahab.

For three years, Schiff relentlessly insisted that he had “direct evidence” that Trump worked for Moscow. Schiff never presented this “evidence” because it does not exist. If it did, he would have publicized it by now. Why wouldn’t he? Instead, Schiff flat-out lied to the American people about Trump — nonstop.

“If you got the briefing I got from the FBI, you wouldn’t have Swalwell on any committee,” McCarthy said. “And you’re going to tell me other Democrats couldn’t fill that slot? He cannot get a security clearance in the private sector.”

“Swalwell can’t get a security clearance in the private sector,” McCarthy told Punchbowl News last week. “I’m not going to give him a government security clearance.”

So, Democrats can bitch, whine, and moan all they want. They had this coming.

This scenario would have been unthinkable for the U.S. House of Representatives’ first 228 years. The majority party did not block minority-party members from committees. Only the minority leader could do this.

This changed radically when former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi unilaterally removed GOP Rep. Paul Gosar of Arizona and Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia from their committees during the last Congress.

Pelosi also vetoed Republican Rep. Jim Banks of Indiana and Ohio’s Jim Jordan from the House’s Jan. 6 Committee. She surely feared that these two gophers would dig too deeply and ask too many tough questions such as: If President Trump really wanted his mega-MAGA supporters to overthrow Congress on Jan. 6, 2021, why did he authorize up to 20,000 National Guard troops to stand in their way? And why did Pelosi and Washington, D.C., Mayor Muriel Bowser reject these troops and thus endanger the U.S. Capitol?

Such inquiries would have spoiled the Democrats’ anti-Trump crucifixion. So, for the first time in U.S. history, the House majority reached down into a committee and kept members of the minority off of it.

Well, now that Republicans are back in charge, they are exacting righteous revenge against Democrats, based on the precedent that Democrats themselves established.

“Remember,” McCarthy told Punchbowl News, “this is what Nancy Pelosi, this is the type of Congress she wanted to have.”

Good. This should teach these evil, leftist degenerates a lesson: If you plant seeds of injustice, you will reap bushels of payback.

Democrats have established other precedents that Republicans should feel perfectly free to use to get even with their leftist foes.

Democrat Attorney General Merrick Garland sicced the FBI on Mar-a-Lago, Trump’s palatial residence and resort in Palm Beach. This onslaught was unprecedented. No ex-president ever has endured what Trump did: Some 30 armed FBI agents stormed his property and then rifled through his papers, former First Lady Melania Trump’s wardrobe, and even the bedroom and possessions of their son Barron, age 16.

The Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday morning that the FBI did not just happen to avoid raiding Biden’s homes. The Justice Department thought about it and affirmatively decided not to execute such a raid or even oversee the search for classified documents by Biden’s personal lawyers. Supposedly, these attorneys were cooperating with the DOJ. So, the whole thing has been handled through the honor system.

Let’s see if this becomes a trend.

If some high school student is suspected of having a bong and an ounce bag of intense bud in his locker, will the principal open it and search it, or will he stand down and say: “Don’t worry about it, kid. As long as your attorneys inspect your locker and report back to us, we’re good. Have a blessed day!”

So why didn’t Attorney General Garland let Rudolph W. Giuliani, Esq. go through Mar-a-Lago and let the DOJ know what he found, if anything? Wouldn’t that have been easier and cheaper than dispatching 30 feds at dawn to bang on Trump’s doors and then run their fingers through Melania’s intimate apparel?

This rancid development confirms, in case anyone doubted it, that America now features a two-track justice system: criminal punishment for Republicans and concierge services for Democrats.

Given this entire disgrace, Republicans should not hesitate to raid the home of a future Democrat president suspected of wrongdoing.

Meanwhile, Republicans will wait (and wait and wait) for the FBI to raid Biden’s Delaware properties — his mansion in Wilmington and his beach house in Rehoboth. Rather than subject Biden to this indignity, his own attorneys are sifting through his files to determine which are classified and, supposedly, hand them over to the Justice Department.

One wonders:

1. Do all of Biden’s personal lawyers who have inspected his papers have a security clearance? If not, Biden broke the law by letting any of them without clearance peruse the classified materials in his possession.

2. Are Biden’s attorneys handing over every classified document they find, or is anything magically falling into the roaring flames of Biden’s fireplace? If so, and anyone objects, his lawyers can reply: “Attorney/client privilege!” That will be the end of that. How convenient!

3. Why were lawyers rifling through Biden’s files in the first place? Were they sanitizing Biden’s documents before Rep. Jordan and the GOP House Judiciary Committee could subpoena them? Burned papers tell no tales.

Also, Democrats on the House Ways and Means Committee released six years of Trump’s tax returns. This “bombshell” was a moist firecracker. Trump reduced his taxes according to the convoluted U.S. Tax Code. He followed the very laws passed by his Democrat critics to limit his corporate and personal tax liability. This was perfectly legal. Trump’s critics should embrace a low, single-rate flat tax with few loopholes, if any. People like Trump would pay “their fair share,” as everyone would, and the U.S. economy would thrive.

Republicans should feel no qualms about releasing future Democrat presidents’ tax returns. Democrats crossed this line. So, the GOP should feel free to cross it in reverse.

The Jan. 6 Committee also released the Social Security numbers of some 2,000 Trump allies whom they investigated. This massive, life-changing security breach will leave these people vulnerable to financial hacking and a parade of migraines related to bank accounts, credit cards, mortgages, and much more.

So, if the time comes, Republicans should feel free to release the Social Security numbers of Democrats who are under their microscopes. Let them feel the pain of spending weeks or months coping with bankers, lawyers, security companies, and others to clean up the mess after their previously confidential digits go public.

Republicans must stop being nice to Democrats.

Democrats awaken with their brass knuckles already affixed. They bathe with them on, dine with them on, and have sex with them on.

Republicans do not owe Democrats a goddamn thing.

Democrats want to play scorched-Earth politics. Fine. Republicans should scorch the Earth beneath their feet.

If Democrats want to return to the bipartisanship of Republican President Ronald Reagan and Democrat House Speaker Tip…
