Top 10 Places to Visit in Columbus

There are a lot of great neighborhoods and suburbs in Columbus in which to live, but where you want to take guests and visitors to experience Columbus isn’t always your own back yard. To that end, we ask our readers each year to help us figure out the top destinations in city for visitors.

For the first time since we began asking this question back in 2015, German Village has topped The Short North in the list for first place. Home to some of the city’s most well preserved historic architecture, German Village offers a great spot to stroll, with a lot of unique destinations for dining, shopping and entertainment. Schiller Park is the neighborhood’s crown jewel, while institutions like Schimidt’s Sausage Haus, The Book Loft and Katzinger’s offer some fun places to duck indoors for awhile.
