LETTER: Hillary obsession is pathetic

A recent letter writer declared Hilary Clinton guilty of multiple crimes. The plain fact is that Hilary Clinton is the closest to a proven clean politician we have, having endured a quarter century of accusation, innuendo, harassment and pure vile slander.
GOP hatewingers have hauled her before House kangaroo courts, where she at one testified for 11 hours straight. During that time, nothing came of it. Two possibilities: Either she was guilty, and the GOP was utterly inept in proving it, and thus unfit to govern, or they were intent on persecuting her, absent evidence, instead of dealing with real issues. This indicates an unwillingness to govern.
It’s been six years since The Former Guy took over, with often a GOP-controlled Congress. He was impeached twice, the last with a bipartisan Senate vote to convict. Some of the rest said his culpability was irrelevant; he had already departed.
As to The Former Guy: orderly? At least 15 boxes landed at his estate and he knew nothing about it? For a year and a half, the National Archives asked politely for the documents. Trump doesn’t do nice. He stonewalled, gave some, denied having the rest, which the FBI later found, having been called in, with warrant, to retrieve them. What they’re finding is a bit frightening.
Want stupid? That would be the MAGAts who still defend the indefensible.
