Former President Donald Trump holds rally in Ohio and endorses Frank LaRose for Ohio

Former President Donald Trump is making a stop at the Delaware County Fairgrounds for his Save America Rally on Saturday.This will be Trump’s first return to Ohio since June 2021.The rally is being held at the Delaware County Fairgrounds on 236 Pennsylvania Ave., Delaware, Ohio.The doors will open at 2 p.m. and Trump is scheduled to speak around 7 p.m. Trump has a number of special guest speakers lined up for the event and all the speakers have been endorsed by the former president.His visit comes 10 days before the May 3 primary where the Ohio GOP have been in a contentious Senate primary race. Currently, there are seven candidates vying for current GOP Sen. Rob Portman’s seat.After a few months of speculation on who or if Trump would endorse someone in the senate race, he announced his backing of candidate J.D. Vance. Now, just before Trumps’ Ohio rally, he sent out a statement endorsing Frank LaRose for re-election in the Ohio Secretary of State. LaRose also announced his endorsement of Vance in the Republican primary for U.S. Senate.
