Here are the top stories today in Marietta:

  1. The Ohio Supreme Court has rejected a 4th set of state legislative maps. A federal court had set a deadline for April 20 for new maps. If new maps aren’t agreed upon, a federal court could assume the duty. (Epoch Times)
  2. The Washington County Sheriff’s Office is remembering Deputy Rodney Kinzy. He died on 4/17/1990. (WCSO)
  3. A number of plants have been deemed invasive to Ohio. The smelly Callery Pear tree is one of them, and starting next year will not be available for purchase and will be banned from being sold. (ABC5)
