Maughmer is three-time NCCAA All-American
CEDARVILLE, Ohio – Senior guard Branden Maughmer has been voted to the NCCAA Men’s Basketball All-America Team for the third consecutive year.
The 6-foot-3 Chillicothe, Ohio native is one of five players on the second team.
Maughmer was a second team choice in 2020 and earned a spot on the first team last winter.
He guided the Yellow Jackets to a 19-13 record and their first-ever appearance in the NCAA Division II Championship as an at-large selection in the Midwest Regional.
He averaged 16.6 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 3.4 assists to go along with a team-leading .831 free throw accuracy in the 30 games in which he played.
Maughmer ended his Cedarville career with 1,709 points and 420 assists.
He was a four-time All-G-MAC performer and was named to the G-MAC All-Defensive Team in each of the past three seasons.
