How to sign up for the Columbus Dispatch’s Conversations newsletter
Boy, do we have reasons to talk.
More importantly, we have reasons to stop and hear each other out.
Dialogue does not have to be disrespectful and there is nothing disagreeable about healthy debate.
With this in mind, I am excited to tell you about our recently launched Columbus Dispatch Conversations email newsletter.
Like our daily digital and newspaper opinion pages, Sunday Conversation section, Facebook group and Columbus Conversations virtual townhall series, the free newsletter will focus on providing a platform for community dialogue, building understanding and finding solutions.
Despite the rhetoric and political discourse, we have far more things that unite us than divide us.
Every Tuesday, I will email you the best fact-based opinions and analysis to help move our city, state, region and nation forward.

You will not agree with every single thing you read.
What good would that be?
But I hope that you find guest columns, letters to the editor, editorials, podcasts and videos that make you think and broaden your understanding of our world and the people who live in it.
We cannot solve the very real challenges our communities face if we do not hear each other out. Let’s remove the barriers that separate us. Solutions can be found if we listen.

Conversations strives to provide platforms for discussions, so feel free to send me a letter to the editor or submit a guest column for publication consideration.
Email them to [email protected].
Letters are typically 200 words or less. Guest columns are 400 to 600 or so words and must include the writer’s headshot and two-line bio. I’d also need links to cited information if available.
And as a reminder: This newsletter is free but accessing some of the columns linked within will require a subscription.
