Ginther Announces Two More Administration Appointments

Columbus Mayor-elect Andrew Ginther continues to gradually announce cabinet appointments for his new administration, which will take office on January 1. The latest two additions include the transition of Joe Lombardi from the Department of Public Utilities over to the Department of Finance, where he will serve as director, Scott Messer who will be retained in his current position as the director of the Department of Building & Zoning Services.

“Both Joe and Scott have been instrumental in managing important divisions that provide critical city services,” said Ginther. “I look forward to working with Joe in his new role as we craft a responsible budget that aligns resources with our spending priorities. I am confident that Scott will continue to provide the best customer service experience possible for our residents and businesses as he leads our Building and Zoning Services Department.”
