Inside Urban Meyer’s new Jacksonville home

Following two years in retirement after a remarkable seven-year run as head coach of the Ohio State Buckeyes, Urban Meyer is off to coach the Jacksonville Jaguars. These type of moves in sports make for some major real estate transactions, and that’s what happened here. After selling his Dublin Ohio, home in earlier this month, he now has a new residence in Jacksonville.

The Shelley Jean Meyer Revocable Trust purchased a home April 16 for $2.15 million in a gated Glen Kernan Golf & Country Club in South Jacksonville. The home is on the street as Tim Tebow, is quarterback during his illustrious Florida career that spanned from 2005-10.

The 5,785-square-foot, four-bedroom, five-bathroom home was built in 2007. The two-story home, with a partial third floor, features an elevator, butler’s kitchen, game room, heated pool and spa and summer kitchen. The home was also previously owned by former Jaguars quarterback David Garrard from 2008-11.
