The Edna White Community Garden, 1812 W. Monterey Ave., will host an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 23.
A session of the hunt will be held for children with special needs of all ages at 10 a.m. All others are welcome to the hunt at 11:30 a.m.
The event will feature sweets and coffee donated by Beverly Bakery, kid-friendly lemonades and morning cocktails for adults.
A $10 donation to the garden is appreciated.

Two free exhibitions focused on past and contemporary Chicago women artists will open this spring. The exhibitions are part of Art Design Chicago, a city-wide series of art exhibitions and programs that explore Chicago’s unique creative communities, including groundbreaking work by Chicago women.
On March 24, the Hyde Park Art Center, 5020 S. Cornell Ave., will host Alice Shaddle: Fuller Circles. Shaddle was an artistic anchor of Chicago and co-founded the women artist collective Artemisia Gallery.
The exhibition will feature new research and never-before-exhibited works by the artist.
On April 6, the Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events will open Victoria Martinez: Braiding Histories at the Chicago Cultural Center, 78 E. Washington St. Martinez is a Chicago interdisciplinary artist who draws inspiration from other Chicago women artists as well as the urban environment, architecture and inventive use of materials and scales.
Both exhibitions are free and open to the public and include tours and programs.
The Shedd Aquarium will host Ritmo del Mar, on Saturday, March 23, from 7 to 11 p.m. Visitors will enjoy a night of music, cuisine, culture and mesmerizing animals with an aquatic backdrop like nowhere else in Chicago.
Returning for its second year, this event brings the sounds of salsa, cumbia, merengue and Latin jazz to the aquarium. Guests can participate in animal chats with experts in both English and Spanish, games of loteria, bachata dance lessons and all the wonders of the underwater world.
Food and beverages will also be available for purchase.
Tickets are $14.95 for members, $19.95 for Chicago residents and $39.95 for non-residents.
