Celebrity couple Aditi Rao Hydari and Siddharth, who had been dating each other for a while, sparked wedding rumours last month. However, after reports of their wedding in Telangana flooded social media, they clarified that they were engaged, not yet married. Reportedly, they had an intimate ceremony at a temple in Srirangapuram, Wanaparthy District. The duo confirmed the news with a picture on Instagram.
Siddharth on ‘secret engagement’
At the Galatta Golden Stars event, the Rang De Basanti actor finally spoke about the hush-hush affair.
“Many told me we had done this (get engaged) in secret. There’s a big difference between doing something privately with family and in secret. The ones whom we didn’t invite think it’s a secret, but the ones who were there know it was private,” said Siddharth.
When are Siddharth and Aditi getting married?
The actor also opened up about their wedding plans. He said that the wedding date will depend on the elders of their families and what they say. “It isn’t like a shooting date I can decide on, it’s a lifetime date. It will happen at the right time once they decide,” he added.
About Aditi Rao Hydari and Siddharth
The duo reportedly started dating during the shoot of their 2021 Telugu film Maha Samudram. They initially kept it a secret but later confirmed their relationship on social media. While Siddharth and Aditi are extremely private about their personal lives, they occasionally treat fans with mushy pictures online.
Reportedly, the couple has been in a live-in relationship for a while.
Before this, Aditi was married to actor Satyadeep Mishra. Meanwhile, Sidharth parted ways with wife Meghna Narayan in 2007.
