Following much buzz, the signal song for Mnet‘s upcoming survival show I-LAND 2 is finally out. The track, Final Love Song, is sung by the 24 contestants as well as Blackpink‘s Rosé.

On April 4, Mnet finally dropped the full version of I-LAND 2’s signal song, Final Love Song, featuring Blackpink’s Rosé. While the On the Ground singer only got 45 seconds on the track, her part instantly became the talk of the town. Netizens couldn’t stop praising the Blackpink star’s dreamy vocals.
Produced by THEBLACKLABEL’s Teddy, 24 and VVN, Final Love Song is a peppy dance song that samples the hit song The Final Countdown. The track symbolically captures the I-LAND 2 contestants’ challenge to achieve their dreams by comparing it to love.
Launched in 2020, I-LAND is reality survival show through which around 20 trainees compete to form a global K-pop group. The first season of I-LAND gave birth to the beloved boy group ENHYPEN. IU sang the opening theme for season 1 of the reality show. I-LAND 2 : N/a is scheduled to premiere on April 18 and will follow the process of creating a new girl group.

Following her departure from YG Entertainment for solo activities in December 2023, Rosé has been busy with events and photoshoots. As for her musical career, the Gone singer is yet to reveal her future plans. However, she did post pictures from a recording studio and tease a new song earlier this year. Furthermore, South Korean media outlets claimed that the Blackpink star is currently working to establish a one-person label for her solo promotions.
