Shark Tank India 3 has been making headlines since day 1. Right from Namita Thapar to Anupam Mittal, the sharks have been grabbing everyone’s eyeballs with their honest opinions and comments to the pitchers. Recently, pitcher Jeevika Tyagi, who is the CEO of her athleisure startup Aastey, slammed Namita Thapar for calling her out over her alleged indiscipline behaviour towards managing finance.
Jeevika Tyagi slams Namita Thapar
In the latest episode, sharks asked Jeevika about her bank balance, to which she revealed it was zero. Aman Gupta tells her, “So hum invest kisme kar rahe hai? Business kaha hai? Maal bhi bikk nahi raha (So, where will we invest, where is the business? Your products are also not selling).” Vineeta also added, “Ye jo financial indiscipline aapne dikhaya hai, that is baffling me (The financial indiscipline that you have shown is baffling me).”
Namita also said, “You took Rs 10 crore from the investors and spent the amount primarily on marketing? I am out.” Reacting to her comment, Jeevika Tyagi shared a video clip and lashed out at Namita Thapar. Let us tell you, the pitcher later deleted her post.
In the video shared by her, in which she said in Hindi, “Despite the show’s title, ‘Celebrating Entrepreneurial Breakthroughs,’ the poster asks, ‘Is this financial indiscipline?’ Namita, I think this oversight shows a big ‘financial indiscipline’ on your part, as you didn’t understand a simple thing. Everyone talks about our stock, but why aren’t we selling it? Where did our stock come from? They say we spent the whole Rs 10 crore on marketing. But what about the money for our stock, its storage, team salaries, and running the business? Sony cut out all that important information. I’ll keep sharing insights like these.”
Talking about Shark Tank India 3, the show has Anupam Mittal, Namita Thapar, Aman Gupta, Vineeta Singh, Peyush Bansal, Amit Jain, Ronnie Screwvala and five other members as judges.
