Letter From The Editor re: Obituaries
The Newark Daily Times, in keeping with our commitment to being your hometown publication, is offering local obituaries and Celebrations of Life submissions published without charge to all Newark and Licking County residents.
If you experience the loss of a loved one, it is also a loss to all who make up a community. We offer our condolences to anyone whose family may face this difficult time in the coming years. As a small gesture to our residents, we will share your loss with others in Licking County whenever you ask.
Simply send your submission to myself at the email address below, and we will make sure that others are made aware of your loss by honoring your loved one here at The Newark Daily Times.
A picture may be attached if you would like it to accompany your notice.
In addition, we have posted tips for writing these notifications should you desire assistance…but these guidelines are only suggestions. Your words will be published just as you submit them, in any style you desire.
***In cases where an individual may not be able to write a piece due to physical infirmity, or be able to find the time or words, you can email me at the address listed below with only your phone number. I will call you and write the notice for you to ensure that our community is made aware of your loss, as it is our loss also.
