Responsibilities:
As a Project Engineer you are responsible for the development, coordination, and completion of projects. Designs, develops, and tests all aspects of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery. Also, applies knowledge of engineering principles to conduct studies for the design of products, instruments, controls, robots, and machines, etc. As a supporting role for the scheduling department, the main responsibility for this position is to prepare Manufacturing Orders (MO) prior to their being issued.

  • Hands-on attitude: do you like handling products, tools, talking to operators, and other engineers?
  • Flexibility: can you walk through the door in the morning with a plan for your day and be able to adjust as problems occur and challenges arise? Can you quickly learn new things? Can you adjust your schedule to occasionally work with members on other shifts or from other areas?
  • Persistence: are you able to take the initiative and follow up with other members of the company to ensure important things are completed in a timely manner?
  • Technical ability: can you read drawings, understand GD&T and review products with measuring devices to determine if a product is made in accordance with the drawing?
  • Develop relationships: can you foster relationships with members of the company at several levels and establish trust with them so you can work together?
