Stars shine at the Rivals Camp Series in Atlanta

ATLANTA – Top prospects from around the Southeast showed up for the Rivals Camp Series on Sunday at Lakewood Stadium. At day’s end, a long list of players earned recognition for outstanding performances. Here’s a look at the MVPs and other standouts from the event.

Noland showed why he was so highly pursued by the Buckeyes via his crisp play on the day. His improvement over the past year is extremely impressive and gives us even more confidence that he can be Ohio State‘s quarterback of the future. Arm strength and precision passes were two staples of his game during the camp and he proved capable of dropping the ball with pinpoint accuracy at every level of the field.

Noland says he is as solid as can be with the Buckeyes and look for Ohio State to keep his pledge through signing day.

It was a really tight race for the running back MVP award but Walker edged out the competition. His only Power Five offers are from Mississippi State, Arkansas and Purdue but more big programs should come calling for the shifty back out of Georgia. Walker did a great job consistently catching the ball away from his body but his greatest asset was his quickness in the open field. He was an excellent route runner, causing linebackers to lose their balance because of his sharp cuts and ability to accelerate in the blink of an eye.

There wasn’t one receiver that completely blew away the competition but Stone had a really impressive day. The LSU commit is a smooth runner and made everything looks effortless. Stone is a smooth runner with great straight line speed but it’s his explosiveness that gave defensive backs problems in coverage. With his 74-inch wingspan, Stone’s large catch radius gave quarterbacks a lot of room to work with when throwing him the ball. He had a lot of success when running intermediate crossing routes because he knows how to use his body to keep defensive backs from undercutting the throw.

Last year was the first time Jacobs participated in a Rivals Camp but this year he was much more prepared and it showed. The massive offensive tackle checked in a 6-foot-7, 318-pounds with a 82-inch wingspan and those physical gifts helped him put on a dominant performance on Sunday. Jacobs is a patient pass blocker with a powerful first punch and the ability to reset his hands throughout the play. He has plenty of quickness which helped him stay between the defender and quarterback on nearly every 1-on-1 rep. Tennessee, Georgia, Penn State and Clemson are the teams to watch in his recruitment right now.

Stewart was an absolute beast from start to finish and plays the game differently than other recruits his age. The New Orleans (La.) St. Augustine standout is physically and athletically dominant, plays with a chip on his shoulder and had little trouble winning nearly every rep during the 1-on-1 portion of the camp. His performance at today’s camp cemented him as one of the nation’s best and it could be argued that he would be one of the top players in this year’s class despite being a class of 2026 recruit.

USC and Georgia are two programs that Stewart visited recently and look for them to battle it out with the likes of Alabama, LSU and many others for his pledge.

The newly minted four-star had a performance to remember and one could argue that Jones was the overall MVP of the camp. The physically impressive linebacker started his day by passing the eyeball test and finished by dominating every portion of the camp from drill work to competition periods. He plays the game fast, physical and is the ultimate competitor to boot.

Little was known about the Mississippi native heading into the camp, but everybody in the stadium knew who he was by the time camp was over. Jones may not have Power Five offers today, but his play proved him being more than worthy and his recruitment will likely blow up in the coming months.

The race for defensive back MVP was more difficult to sort out than any other on Sunday. There were about five players in contention for the award but Mosby won out thanks to a couple outstanding reps during the showcase portion of 1-on-1s. He was really bouncy and light on his feet, gliding around the field and disrupting receivers while they were in their routes. Mosby got his hands on the ball multiple times and pulled in a key interception near the end of the camp that helped him win the MVP award. He has a handful of Power Five offers from programs like Ole Miss, North Carolina, Indiana, Georgia Tech, Maryland and a few others.
