Miyan Williams injury not likely to keep him out of OSU vs. UGA
Miyan Williams was scheduled to meet with the press on Tuesday before No. 4 Ohio State football plays No.1 Georgia in the College Football Playoff semifinal on Dec. 31. Instead running back Chip Traynum replaced him.
But Trayanum told reporters not to worry.
“Miyan’s good,” Trayanum said. “He’s just a little under the weather right now. He’s straight. He’s going to be ready to go.”
Offensive coordinator Kevin Wilson added that Williams has had a strong week of practice so far and the media availability absence shouldn’t keep him out.

Williams suffered an ankle injury late in the regular season that forced him to miss most of the the Michigan game. He also didn’t play against Maryland and Michigan State and had just two carries against Penn State.
TreVeyon Henderson, Ohio State running backs have battled injuries all season
It’s been a tough year for Ohio State running backs who have dealt with injuries.
TreVeyon Henderson, a preseason All-American, will miss the College Football Playoff run with a foot injury. Along with Williams’ run of injuries, the Buckeyes also lost Evan Pryor before the season even started with a torn patellar tendon in August.

Chip Traynum, Dallan Hayden picked up carries for Ohio State in 2022
Traynum and freshman Dallan Hayden saw carries as Williams and and Henderson dealt with injuries.
Hayden finished with 510 yards on 102 carries with five touchdowns this season, including three against Maryland. Trayanum, who switched from linebacker to running back during the season, had 14 carries for 83 yards against Michigan.
