Los Angeles appears to be hitting its stride at the best possible time, as HC Brandon Staley’s bunch will dive headfirst into Monday Night Football winners in three of their last four games. The Chargers picked up a thrilling 25-24 road victory at Arizona in Week 12 to jumpstart the recent hot-streak, and followed that up with a pair of crucial home wins over the Miami Dolphins and Tennessee Titans.
Los Angeles will now hit the road for the first time since their most recent loss, when they fell to the Las Vegas Raiders in Allegiant Stadium during Week 13, 27-20. And despite coming into this one in need of a win for their postseason lives against a 4-9-1 team that appears to be a lost cause, Los Angeles is only listed as a 4.5-point favorite over the Colts and backup QB Nick Foles. Tread lightly if laying the points in this one – Indy is 2-0 ATS as a home underdog this season, with a 1-point loss and cover against the Philadelphia Eagles and an outright win over the Kansas City Chiefs.

After jumping out to a shocking 33-0 halftime lead on the road against the explosive 11-2 Minnesota Vikings, the Colts squandered what ended up being the largest comeback victory in NFL regular season history. Minnesota finished the game on a 39-3 run, outscoring Indianapolis 22-0 in the fourth quarter to pull off the near-impossible and stun Saturday’s squad.
The Colts were essentially eliminated from playoff contention as a result, and the loss was so bad that starting QB Matt Ryan was benched for the second time during the 2022 campaign. Former-Super Bowl MVP and current Colts backup QB Nick Foles will start in place of Ryan, but will need to assume the starting duties without one of Indy’s best playmakers in the backfield. Star RB Jonathan Taylor went down early in the loss at Minnesota with an ankle injury and was placed on IR shortly after the game. He’ll miss the remainder of the season. The RB duo of Zack Moss and Deon Jackson are expected to handle the bulk of the workload in tonight’s game.
