Projecting AP Top 25 poll entering Week 14

Michigan owned Ohio State in a battle of unbeatens Saturday to highlight rivalry weekend’s College Football Playoff-altering results that also included South Carolina’s stunning upset of Clemson. The Gamecocks’ second-straight win over a top-10 team snapped the Tigers’ 40-game home winning streak and opened the door for others in the final four race heading into conference championship weekend. Who will be at the top of the AP Top 25 poll entering Week 14?

Michigan plays in next week’s Big Ten Championship Game against Purdue as the No. 2 team in the country, while the Buckeyes await their postseason fate, which is now in the hands of the playoff selection committee. Ohio State was No. 2 in the latest CFP rankings, but is now in danger of falling outside of the top four for the first time this season. TCU stayed unbeaten with a win over Iowa State, and USC’s showdown win over Notre Dame in primetime pushed the Trojans one game closer to the final four.

In all, four top 10 teams lost during rivalry weekend, including LSU, whose face-plant at Texas A&M was surprising.
