Olympian, Roseville wrestling coach arrested on sexual acts with minors charges

An Olympian and wrestling coach in Roseville was arrested Tuesday on several charges, including those related to sexual acts with a child under 18 years of age, according to police. Roseville police said 50-year-old Quincey Lee Clark was arrested for “crimes committed against minors.”Police added that Clark is a wrestling coach who runs a sports training business out of his home in Roseville. He also competed in the Olympics for Team USA. After a tip from a community member, police began an investigation and found multiple juveniles who had been victimized when training with Clark.On Sept. 15, Clark’s case was forwarded to the Placer County District Attorney’s Office. An arrest warrant was issued and served on Tuesday. Police said Clark was arrested on several charges, including “lewd and lascivious acts with a child under 18 years old.””When we have coaches in our community, who we trust to care and coach our kids, and they betray that trust, we intend to hold them accountable,” said Rob Baquera, a spokesperson for the Roseville police department.Baquera said the department wants to talk with people who know Clark and his business, adding there is concern due to the wide range of individuals he has worked with in the group and private settings.There was no answer at the Clark home Wednesday.According to the California Wrestling Hall of Fame website, Clark was inducted to the Hall of Fame in 2015.
