Salma Hayek turns 56! The actress celebrates in a red bikini: ‘Always grateful’

Latin bombshell Salma Hayek – who has starred in over 60 movies – has turned 56-years-old.

And to celebrate the Frida actress took to Instagram to share a video of herself in a red bikini. She was dancing while on a speedboat as she held onto a summer hat.

‘Happy 56th birthday to me!!! ❤️. Feliz cumpleaños #56 para mi !!!’ wrote the brunette beauty in her caption as she added the hashtag for ‘Always grateful.’

The siren moved her body with confidence as she wore a red triangle top bikini with very small briefs that hugged her hips.

She was on a speed boat with friends as it went along at a fast clip.

The pinup was holding onto a straw hat as her long brown hair fell over her shoulders. Hayek held onto a cell phone as she seemed to be taking a video herself.

The cover girl added reflective sunglasses as she appeared to be makeup free.

She has been in Italy this summer with her husband Pinault and their daughter Valentina, 14.

The icon has been busy this summer as she filmed a movie with Angelina Jolie as director: Without Blood. They shot in Rome for several weeks.  

The two have become best friends. In August Hayek called Jolie one of the best directors she has ever worked with as the ex of Brad Pitt has been directing the Latin superstar, according to People.

The A listers bonded when they co-starred in the 2021 Marvel film The Eternals.

‘She is probably the best director I have ever worked with, and I have worked with some pretty good ones,’ said Hayek who has appeared in Robert Rodriguez’s From Dusk Till Dawn and Steven Soderbergh’s Traffic.

‘I’ve always loved her as a director, but I think this might be her best, or one of the best,’ said the mother of one.

Without Blood is a drama with the press release sharing: ‘An unforgettable fable set in the aftermath of an unidentified conflict, it explores universal truths about war, trauma, memory, and healing.’ 

In September the Oscar-winning Maleficent actress was seen with the Frida star during her 55th birthday celebrations.

Jolie  even participated as the Hollywood beauty let her face be pushed into a white cake while her pals chanted ‘Mordida.’

Mordida – which means ‘bite’ in Spanish – is a Mexican tradition at birthday parties. 

Usually the person who is having the birthday gets their hands pulled back while their face is pushed into the cake, which is typically a fluffy and creamy tres leches.

The guests yell Mordida! over and over. 

And Angelina was seen doing some of the pushing herself as her hand was on Salma’s back.

Jolie was dressed in all black with black high heels with her long brunette hair worn down as she joined in the chant.

Hayek was in blue with boots and a long necklace and her dark hair down.

The family chanted Mordida as Hayek gets nervous for the dunk but seems prepared as she holds her locks back.

‘My brother @hayekstudio and me trying to teach Angie how to do the mexican mordida @angelinajolie Mi hermano sami y yo enseñandole a #anjelinajolie como se hace la mordida!’ wrote the mother-of-one in her caption.
