Kourtney Kardashian and her husband Travis Barker were seen holdings hands after grabbing a bite to eat with her son Reign, seven, in Westlake Village on Wednesday.

Following a casual lunch at Joi Café, known for their plant-based dishes, smoothies and coffee, the couple- who recently tied the knot during a lavish ceremony in Italy -looked happy in love as they walked back to their car. 

For their outing, the 43-year-old reality star cut a casual figure in a white and navy blue graphic long sleeve t-shirt, drawstring sweatpants and a pair of sandals.

The Blink-182 drummer, 46, who recently hospitalized with a severe case of acute pancreatitis, appeared in good health as he walked by his spouse’s side.

The father-of-two kept a low profile in a black hoodie, matching pants, sneakers and silver shades.

Kardashian’s youngest child, who she shares with ex Scott Disick, wore a gray tee and fuzzy black pants and a pair of slides.

Neither of her other children Mason, 12, and Penelope, ten, appeared to be present on the excursion, nor were Barker’s kids Landon, 18, or Alabama, 16, from his past marriage to ex-wife Shanna Moakler.

Late last month, the musician was rushed to hospital after developing a severe case of pancreatitis apparently caused by an endoscopy he had undergone a week earlier. 

‘After dinner, I developed excruciating pain and have been hospitalized ever since,’ he wrote in an Instagram post.

‘During the endoscopy, I had a very small polyp removed right in a very sensitive area, usually handled by specialists, which unfortunately damaged a critical pancreatic drainage tube. This resulted in severe life threatening pancreatitis.’ 

In her own social media statement, Kourtney wrote, ‘Oh what a scary and emotional week it has been. Our health is everything and sometimes we take for granted how quickly it can change. Travis and I went in for a routine endoscopy together and he ended up with severe, life-threatening pancreatitis.’

She continued, ‘I am so grateful to God for healing my husband, for all of your prayers for him and for us, for the overwhelming outpouring of love and support. I am so touched and appreciative.

‘I am so so thankful to our specialists, doctors, and nurses at Cedars Sinai for taking such wonderful care of my husband and me during our stay.’ 

In a follow-up post, she wrote, ‘It’s crazy how sometimes words could never truly express the gratitude or feelings I have inside of me.’

Being that he’s doing much better, Kourtney and Travis have been getting back to life as usual.
