Nicola Peltz has revealed that her new husband Brooklyn Beckham is ‘in heaven’ working as a chef after feeling ‘a lot of pressure to please people with his career.’

The American actress, 27, opened up about married bliss and her recent wedding to Brooklyn, 23, as she appeared on the cover of Tatler magazine.

She also spoke out about her husband’s new-found love of cooking – which developed during the COVID-19 quarantine – after he spent years testing out an array of different jobs.

Brooklyn, who is the son of famous soccer player David Beckham and former Spice Girl-turned-fashion designer Victoria Beckham, previously tried his hand at being a model and a professional photographer, however he recently revealed that he has now turned his hand to cooking – releasing his very own Messenger miniseries called Cookin’ With Brooklyn in December.

Nicola stated in the brand new interview that Brooklyn has finally found the perfect career path, despite him previously receiving a lot of criticism for landing a cooking show without actually having any professional culinary training.

Appearing as the magazine’s August cover star, Nicola put on a sizzling display as she donned an array of glitzy attires for the photoshoot – as she spoke out about her relationship and husband’s budding career as a chef.

In her interview with Tatler, she said that Brooklyn is ‘in heaven’ working as a chef, adding that he has really enjoyed filming his show Cookin’ with Brooklyn.

‘Ever since the pandemic, all he’s wanted to talk about is being in the kitchen, so I just started filming him one day, I said, “This is what you love,”‘ she explained.

Brooklyn has tested out a number of different interests as a career, including working as a photographer and model before he turned to cookery.

Speaking about his diverse career choices, Nicola revealed that her husband felt ‘a lot of pressure to please people with his career, and he didn’t love it.’

She also admitted that Brooklyn has been getting plenty of career advice from her billionaire investment titan father Nelson Peltz.

She added: ‘I watch him call my dad and say, “What do you think about this?” I love watching him learn from my dad.’

Brooklyn began modeling in 2014, but in 2016, at age 16, he decided he wanted to pursue photography instead.

He photographed a campaign for Burberry BRIT, but his participation in the campaign was met with severe criticism by several prominent photographers.

In 2017, he announced that was going to attend the Parsons School of Design at the New School in New York, but left the university one year later because he said he ‘missed’ his family in the UK. He published his own book about photography, called What I see, that same year.

He began an internship with Rankin in 2019, after the legendary snapper became impressed with a photo he had taken of Sir David Attenborough in Africa.
