Wisconsin lands in final 6 schools for Ohio transfer Ben Vander Plas


As the Badgers look to replace likely NBA lottery pick Johnny Davis, senior leader Brad Davison, and replenish a roster that won the 2021-22 Big Ten regular season title, the transfer portal will play a major factor.

Just yesterday, the Badgers landed UW-Green Bay transfer Kamari McGee.

McGee made 21 starts for the Phoenix as a true freshman, averaging 11.6 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.9 assists in 29 minutes per game.

The former Racine Saint Catherine’s standout was a three-time Horizon League Freshman of the Week, and also a member of the Horizon League All-Freshman team.

This morning, Jeff Goodman of Stadium reported that Ohio transfer Ben Vander Plas has narrowed his list down to six schools. Wisconsin made the cut for the Badger State native:
