  1. A Parkersburg High School senior has been named West Virginia Youth of the Year for the second year in a row. His name is Yuan Uy, he has a 4.6 GPA, three jobs, and has been accepted into each of the 27 colleges he’s applied to. (WTAP)
  2. Ohio House Republicans have introduced a bill similar to Florida’s parental rights in education law. That is the law that mainstream media outlets have dubbed the “Don’t Say Gay” law. If passed, it will ban teaching Ohio public school kids K-3 about sexual orientation or gender identity. (Statehouse News Bureau)
  3. Allen Lewis Patterson is this week’s Washington County Sheriff’s Office Warrant of the Week. He’s wanted for having weapons while under disability. (WCSO)
  4. The MOV airport is getting a makeover. The Wood County Airport Authority was awarded nearly $750,000 for terminal and parking lot renovations. (Marietta Times)
  5. Major legal questions are arising from a rape investigation looking at a juvenile in foster care. (WOUB)
