Here are the top three stories in Marietta today:

  1. A Marietta native is one of six artists participating in The Marietta College Art Department’s annual Senior Capstone Exhibition on display in the Atrium Gallery from Apr. 1 – May 7. The show will feature the work of senior artists and designers. Cal Rutter, a student in Studio Art and Psychology who hails from Marietta, created oil paintings depicting trees as symbols of psychological diagnoses. A reception for the event will be held from 5 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. on Apr. 1. (Parkersburg News)
  2. The Washington County Career Center has named its March Students of the Month: Breanna Hill and Kevin Wallace. Hill is a senior at Fort Frye and is enrolled in the Digital Marketing program.   3. It’s that time of the week! There are two homes in the Marietta area that have just been listed in Patch and Redfin’s latest real estate roundup. The listings feature a 4 bed/2.5 bath home for a little over $350,000 and a fixer-upper on Marion Street. (Marietta Patch)
