Ohio State Fair concert series announced | State


The Ohio State Fair, scheduled for July 27 through Aug. 7 at the Ohio Expo Center & State Fair at 717 E. 7th Ave. in Columbus, has announced a concert series to coincide with the fair’s 2022 festivities.

The concert series includes a 7 p.m. July 28 performance by Toby Keith and Alex Miller; a 7:30 p.m. July 29 performance by Foreigner; a 7 p.m. July 30 performance by Nelly with Breland; a 7:30 p.m. July 31 performance by Dru Hill and Raheem DeVaughn; a 7 p.m. Aug. 1 performance by Zach Williams and We the Kingdom; a 7:30 p.m. Aug. 2 performance by Scotty McCreery; and a comedy show by Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias at 7 p.m. Aug. 3.

Tickets for Foreigner, Scotty McCreery and Dru Hill/Raheem DeVaughn at the Ohio State Fair went on sale March 25.

More shows will be announced April 4, according to a news release.

Each ticket purchased in advance includes admission to the fair and the selected concert. All concerts take place in the indoor, air-conditioned WCOL Celeste Center.

The Ohio State Fair plans to follow applicable state and local protocols for COVID-19, the release said. Although it is not required, organizers encourage Ohioans to choose to be vaccinated and follow preventative measures like masking and regularly washing hands.

Tickets can be purchased at ticketmaster.com/ohiostatefair. Children ages 3 and older must have a ticket. Those ages 3 and under who require a separate seat also need a ticket. Children age 2 and under who are able to sit on a lap may do so without a ticket.
