? Port Authority Update + Ohio 7 Tree Removal

First, today’s weather:
A little rain; breezy, cooler. High: 59 Low: 41.
Here are the top three stories today in Marietta:
- Marietta City Council was given an update by the Southeastern Ohio Port Authority. The city hopes within five years to purchase a building downtown to host the port authority offices. Additionally, more port authority workers have been hired. (Marietta Times)
- A tree removal on Ohio 7 will affect Marietta drivers. The tree removal will be taking place between Ohio 807 and Dana Road on County Road 244. Traffic will be regulated by flaggers. (Marietta Times)
- A woman was arrested after a police chase that started in Belpre and ends in Parkersburg. The chase occurred near Marietta along Main Street in downtown Parkersburg. The driver, Michelle Venham, had stolen the car. (WTAP)
