Richard B. “Dick” Rollins

Zanesville – Richard Bryant (Dick) Rollins, 81, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2022 at Genesis Hospice Morrison House. He was born July 21, 1940 in Zanesville to the late Richard Berl and Majel Pritchard Rollins. He was a graduate of Zanesville High School and Ohio University Zanesville with an Associate’s degree in Marketing. He was employed as a real estate broker. Dick enjoyed riding motorcycles and was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Cavaliers. He served in the United States Navy and was a member of the American Legion, AMVETS and Fraternal Order of the Eagles He was an animal lover, and a strong supporter of the Muskingum County Animal Shelter and K9 Adoption Center. He looked forward to seeing “Winnie” the hummingbird come back every spring.

Surviving are his wife, Terri Stewart Rollins; a daughter Deborah (Steve) Grubb; a son Richard “Todd” (Dawn) Rollins; two sisters: Cindy (Tom) Skidmore and Judy (Steve) Suver; half brother Jonathan Rollins; five grandchildren: Brandon Grubb, Kristin Grubb, Zachary Rollins, Christopher Rollins and Alex Rollins; and six great grandchildren: Brayden Grubb, Gage Grubb, Lela Grubb, Kit Rollins, William Rollins and John Richard Rollins.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his many furbabies.

Calling hours will be held from 1 to 3PM Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 W. MILITARY ROAD. Funeral services along with Military honors, provided by the American Legion Post 29 and VFW Post 1058, will begin at 3PM in the Snouffer Chapel with Pastor Jeff Belt officiating.
