Natalie’s Grandview and Worthington remove COVID-19 policies
Two local venues that were among the earliest in instituting COVID policies for entry will be rolling back those requirements this week.
Natalie’s Grandview Music Hall & Kitchen, 945 King Ave., and Natalie’s Coal Fired Pizza, 5601 N. High St., Worthington, will no longer require vaccination or proof of a negative COVID test as of Wednesday. The venues will also no longer require masks upon the lifting of the mask mandate by the City of Columbus on Monday.

“We all were looking forward to the day when we could start easing these restrictions,” said Natalie’s co-owner Charlie Jackson. “With COVID numbers dropping and vaccination rates going up, and the expected City of Columbus lifting of the mandate, it just seemed like this was a good time. We were never really looking at this as being a long-term policy.”

The two Natalie’s venues remain open to changing the requirements for particular concerts if that’s what the artists who are performing want, so patrons should check the website for requirements before buying tickets. But so far, the musicians booked to perform over the next month welcome the change.
“In contacting everyone we’ve contracted to perform through the first part of April, everyone has been fine with it,” Jackson said.
He also wants to make clear that patrons should continue to follow whatever safety protocols they feel personally are most helpful.
“We are certainly not going to be a business that’s going to frown on anyone who wants to mask.”
