WARREN — Leslie Darion Parish, 51, passed away at 10:27 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 27, 2022, at Trumbull Regional Medical Center following a short illness.
He was born May 16, 1970, in Ashland, Ky., the son of Bobby Gene and Vada Moore Parish.
Darion was a self-employed independent truck driver for more than 25 years. He enjoyed doing mechanical work on cars, painting model cars, playing cards, being a DJ and playing his music. Darion loved being around his family and giving his grandkids rides on his lawn tractor.
Darion is survived by his wife, Nanette Gibson Parish, whom he married May 23, 1992; mother, Vada Parish of Warren; daughter, Cheyanne Parish and her fiance, Michael Myers of Lordstown; five grandchildren Emma, Haven, Elaina, Landon and Bailey; half-sister, Jennifer (Gary) Carter of Carter County, Ky.; and half-brother, Eddie Parish of Carter County, Ky.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday, March 3, 2022, at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home, where family and friends may call one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.
