Flood Warning issued for Northeast Ohio counties

AKRON, Ohio — Editor’s note: The video in the player above is from a previously published, related story.

A Flood Warning has been issued for several Northeast Ohio counties as rain continues to come down and ice and snow continue to melt.

Late Tuesday afternoon, the National Weather Service of Cleveland (NWS) issued Flood Warnings for Holmes, Tuscarawas and Wayne counties.

The rain is short-lived, however, as our 3News meteorologists predict snow and flurries accompanied by temps in the low 30’s moving in Wednesday morning.

As always, our weather team will continue to monitor the rain and snow across the area, and be sure to tune in to “What’s New” at 5 p.m. to hear the latest weather news.

This is a developing story. Check back with 3News as updates become available.
