Ohio Wrestling Falls to Buffalo

ATHENS, Ohio—The Ohio wrestling team was defeated 25-10 by Buffalo on Saturday night in the Convocation Center. The Bobcats finished the regular season with a 9-4 (5-3 MAC) record.
 
Redshirt sophomore Oscar Sanchez (Genoa, Ohio) started the match off for the Bobcats at 125 with a 3-1 overtime win over Tristan Daugherty. At 174, freshman Sal Perrine (Northfield, Ohio) dominated his opponent and won by disqualification after Jake Lanning took too many stalling penalties. Perrine earned six team points in his win.

The Bobcats will host the MAC Tournament at the Convocation Center on March 4-5.
