Another couple inches of snow expected Monday in Columbus area


A person crosses Broad Street in Downtown Jan. 17 following an overnight snowstorm. Columbus residents and commuters should expect a snowy afternoon Monday following Sunday's snowfall.

Snow was already tapering off in the Greater Columbus region Sunday afternoon, but area residents can expect another couple of inches Monday.

Around one to two inches of new snow could fall Monday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington.

Temperatures are likely to reach a high of 34 degrees during the day Monday.
