COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Gustav Nyquist scored in the fifth round of the shootout as Columbus beat Nashville.

NEW YORK (AP) — Kieffer Bellows and Anders Lee scored and New York beat Buffalo.

Mathew Barzal added a goal and two assists, and Noah Dobson also scored as the Islanders improved to 3-5-3 after an 0-5-2 start in their new arena.

Former Islanders player Kyle Okposo scored for the Sabres. Malcolm Subban made 28 saves.
