Ohio Election Results: May 4, 2021 Primary


Voters were asked to weigh in on key issues, including a proposed community center and several school levies that are up for consideration.

The polls have closed and results are trickling in for Ohio’s May 4 primary election.

This election, voters were asked to weigh in on key issues, including a proposed community center and several school levies that are up for consideration.

Here’s how people are voting on key issues: 

A first round of results Tuesday night shows voters are against a $2.9 million bond that would help the Pickerington Local School District create more space for students and provide funding for a new junior high school.  

As of Tuesday evening, roughly 61% of Fairfield County voters are against the proposed levy. 

Results also show voters are in favor of a new community center in Upper Arlington, with ‘yes’ votes leading by roughly 80%. The proposed center would come at no additional cost to taxpayers. 

Early results show a $7.35 million levy for the Franklin Township Police District failing with roughly 66% voting against it.  

A first wave of results shows a levy for Knox County Children Services failing by 1,299 votes.
