Here are the top-ranked central Ohio high schools, according to US News and World Report

Several central Ohio high schools are among the best in the country, according to U.S. News and World Report.

For its latest annual list published Tuesday, U.S. News Best High Schools ranked 17,860 public high schools after reviewing 24,000 schools in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. Included in the list are 683 Ohio schools.

Bexley High School came in fourth in the state, making it the top-ranked central Ohio school. On the national list, Bexley ranked no. 164. 

Eight other central Ohio schools made the state’s top 30 list. 

Schools are evaluated on six factors: college readiness, reading and math proficiency, reading and math performance, underserved student performance, college curriculum breadth and graduation rates.
