CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Ohio Investigative Unit cited Legends Sports Bar & Grill in Parma and downtown’s Clevelander Bar & Grill this weekend for violating coronavirus health orders. The two bars were cited for improper conduct-disorderly activity, according to a news release.

When OIU agents walked into Legends Sports Bar & Grill, they reported seeing about 200 guests inside. Guests were close to each other throughout the bar, and people sat in consecutive seats, with others standing behind them to place orders, the release states. Few social distancing measures were used, and most of the guests and bar staff did not wear face coverings.

Upon walking into the Clevelander Bar & Grill, agents reported seeing about 100 guests close together throughout the bar. Much like patrons at Legends Sports Bar & Grill, patrons at the Clevelander sat in consecutive seats, and others placed orders behind them, the release states. Few social distancing measures were used, and guests could also stand in multiple groups throughout the bar while drinking alcohol and eating with no barriers for separation. Many guests and staff were not wearing face coverings at this bar as well.
