Ohio State commits, targets at Columbus Under Armour Camp

Ohio State has the 247Sports Composite’s No.1 recruiting class for 2022 and nearly half of Ryan Day’s class is slated to compete led by the No. 1 prospect in Ohio, the No.2 outside linebacker in the land and No. 18 prospect overall in C.J. Hicks. Hicks future teammates he’ll share the field with includes the country’s No. 3 outside linebacker Gabe Powers, the No. 6 athlete prospect nationally in Dasan McCullough, Top247 cornerback Jyaire Brown and Top247 offensive tackle Tegra Tshabola.

More 2022 prospects expected include WR Kaden Saunders, a Penn State verbal from Westerville South; DB Dillon Tatum, a prospect with an OSU offer from Farmington Hills (Mich.) West Bloomfield; and OL Aamil Wagner, a prospect with an OSU offer from Huber Heights Wayne.

* Pleasant Hill (Iowa) Southeast Polk OL Kadyn Proctor, ranked 10th nationally;

* Pickerington Central LB-DB Sonny Styles, ranked 23rd nationally and has OSU offer; and

* Mentor DL Brenan Vernon, ranked ninth nationally and has OSU offer.
