Student Fee Board Applications Now Available

Applications are now open for five at-large seats on the University Park Student Fee Board, which will establish the student fee level for the 2022-2023 school year and allocate those funds to organizations and administrative units across Penn State’s campus.

Applications are due at 5 p.m. on Friday, April 2. They can be filled out through an online form.

The 14-question application asks questions about the applicant’s background, interest, and visions for the board. It also requires a resume.

The Student Fee Board, which was founded in the 2016-2017 academic year, was designed to make the student fee allocation process clearer and more simplified for students and administrators.

Multiple organizations request fee allocations for the following year, including Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS), the Center For Performing Arts (CPA), and the Paul Robeson Cultural Center (PRCC). Members of the board will make direct recommendations to the university president about fee allocations and fee rates.
