Demi Rose Ditches Her Shirt To Prove Heaven Is A Place On Earth

Demi appeared on British tv this morning via Zoom to discuss grief on National Suicide Prevention Day. The beauty dealt with extreme pain and sadness when her parents passed away only seven months apart. Now, she is using her platform to discuss how she made it through her grief and she hopes that her story can help others.

Rose was just 17-years-old when her mother was left in her care after a medical emergency.

”I’ve lost both of my parents, my dad [to] cancer and my mum had a heart attack which caused a stroke when I was 17 and I was left as her carer as she was left disabled,” she said on Pretty Little Thing’s podcast.

She took care of her mom for over seven years and admitted that the loss affected her young life.

“Then my dad passed away with cancer and then my mum then sadly passed away 7 months after him with a stomach infection, and it just made me grow up really fast and be really really strong about things.”

“And I think if I can inspire people by talking about grief, then you know if they can relate to me and they can understand it a little bit and I can help them then that’s important to me,” she said at the time.
