Inspiring Farbrengen at Empire Shtiebel Marks Chai Elul

A full crowd attended a Farbrengen and Siyum HaRambam at Empire Shtiebel in Crown Heights to mark the auspicious day of Chai Elul on Sunday.

Chai Elul, 18th of Elul, marks the birthday of 2 great luminaries: The Baal Shem Tov, founder of Chassidus, and the Alter Rebbe, founder of Chassidus Chabad.

To commemorate this special day, Irgun Torah and Empire Shtiebel held to a Siyum Harambam and Farbrengen on Sunday night.

Rabbi Avrohom Rotban, director of the Irgun Torah organization which organizes many Torah shiurim in the Crown Heights community, addressed participants.

Rabbi Shmuel Heber, a Talmid Chochom who leads the Kollel at Empire Shtiebel, led the Farbrengen, followed by Siyum Harambam on Sefer Madah given by Rabbi Shraga Homnick.

In addition, master violinist Hershel Gelman performed heartfelt, soul-stirring Niggunim and songs.

The event was organized with the participation and merit of several members of the community, who Bechasdei Hashem have recovered from the virus, and returned home to their families.
